Show Hickman. A happy party of young folks with their parents and teacher, Mrs. Underhill, returned from Deseret last Friday where they had been called to attend commencement com-mencement exercises. The , graduating class, viz. Misses Annie Black and Venice Barben and Hugo Thompson, did not know whether they had passed their examinations until their arrival in Deseret, therefor their enthusiasm was the greater when they discovered that all had passed with high standing and no condition. Miss Clara Clark went to Cali. Tuesday morning to spend the summer. .The Hummer Dramatic Co. presents their interesting play "Civil Service" at Woodrow Saturday, Sat-urday, May 6th, Sugarville Tuesday, Tues-day, May 9th, Abraham Thurs-1 Thurs-1 day, May 11th, and Sutherland 1 Saturday, May 13th. Proceeds are for the purpose of purchasing purchas-ing a new piano. Admission 25 1 and 15 cents. Miss Leah Meinhardt met with a very painful accident last Friday Fri-day night when she was thrown from her pony sustaining a dislocation dis-location of the elbow.
