Show Millard Academy Last Friday evening Prof. Thomas, of the University of Utah ga-".e-, the first lecture of the lyceum course. His subject sub-ject was "The Far East" and was exceptionally interesting. After the lecture a dance was held in the gymnasium. Saturday night the Freshman class held a class party in the eym. On the same evening the Sophomores Soph-omores took a trip to the reservoir reser-voir 'and grove. Both classes report having had an excellent time. Inter-class basketball games are being held daily and class rivalry runs high. Tuesday night, October 31st, a Hallowe'en carnival will be given by the Junior class in the Academy. On account of this being a study night and so not to hold too late the party will begin be-gin promptly at 7:00 o'clock. This is to be the most unique and . .brilliant Hallowe'en party ever held in the M. A. The ghosts witches, imps, etc., will be on hand and at your service promptly prompt-ly at seven. Everybody is invited. in-vited. Supger will be sold at the college Inn and there will also al-so be other attractions, so bring your change. |
