Show B. A. C. Present Smash Hit For Delta Monday, November 25, the B. A. C. will present its three act play "Dear Ruth" to the public. This play was a smash hit on Broadway for two years. It is the story of an adolecent girl who tried to build up the morale of the service men during the war, by writing letters to the service men, and signing her older sisters name, who was already engaged to another man. The profits from this play will be given to the high school to help purchase Cyelorama and a new velour, front curtains and curtains for the windows. Reserved tickets are going fast, but about 100 general gen-eral admission seats will be on sale the evening of the performance. perform-ance. The play will start promptly at eight. No one will be seated during the acts. Monday, November 18, Torrini and Phyllis presented a Lyceum. It was much better than most magician magic-ian acts. School lets out Wednesday of next week for Thanksgiving. The Harvest Ball will be held Friday 22, after the ball game with Nephi. Everyone is invited to attend. |
