Show Services Held in Fillmore For Mrs. D. Stevens Funeral services were held in the Fillmore ward chapel on Friday Fri-day afternoon, Nov. 9, for Mrs. Bertha Johnson Warner Stevens, the wife of Daniel Stevens, of Fillmore. Fill-more. Her death came on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in a hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born in Holden July 26, 1885. Mrs. Stevens was widely known in the county, where she seryed as county recorder and deputy de-puty county recorder from 1915, following the death of her husband, hus-band, Russel Warner, to 1935, when she was married to Mr. Stevens. She is survived by her husband and father, Hyrum Johnson of Holden, Hol-den, two daughters, Nina Block of Kanosh and Maline Rappleye, of North Hollywood, seven grandchildren, grand-children, and one sister and four brothers. Carlyle Gronning Mayor of Milford Carlyle F. Gronning was elected elect-ed president of the Town Board (Mayor) of Milford on the Citizens ticket, receiving 394 votes of 448 cast. The Citizens ticket has a plank of a parks playground improvement im-provement program pledged. Mr. Gronning works on the railroad, and is a son of M-S T. C. Gronning of Delta. |
