Show j Early Delta Settler Dies in California Mrs. Minnie Meinhardt, the wife of George Meinhardt, of Midway City, near Santa Ana, Cal., died at their home Wednesday, Nov. 7. Funeral services were held there on Friday. Mrs. Meinhardt came to Delta in 1913 with her husband and family, and they made their home on the farm on the North Tract which was later sold to Kimball Kim-ball Johansen. The family were here some years, and moved over twenty years ago to California, where they have lived since. Mrs. Meinhardt was nearing 80 years of age. She is survived By her husband, and three sons, Harry Meinhardt, of Delta, George and Leland, of Midway City, and one daughter, Mrs. Rosaleen Bennett, of Eugene, Oregon, and seven grandchildren. Harry Meinhardt returned this week from Midway City, where he had been called by his mother's illness and death. , Pvt. Roland K. Robins surprised his parents this week by coming home on a 2-day pass. He is stationed sta-tioned at Ft. Douglas as a medic. |
