Delta Girls Win From Wasatch Academy Delta high girls' basketball team defeated Wasatch Academy in a close fought game with a score of 18-17. After trailing most of the game by 5 points, Delta came forward for-ward in the last quarter to tie the score with 15 seconds playing time left. Zoe Porter scored a foul pitch to win the game. Elizabeth Moody and Zoe Porter were the high scorers with Felice Lambson, Betty Jo Fidel and Velda Vel-da Boothe doing outstanding guarding. Ora Mae Bishop, Beth Bunker, Beryl Anderson and Donna Rigby also did some fine playing. This team was just a temporary group selected for the game, try outs will be held to select the official of-ficial girls' team.
