Show Plans Set for First Ward Gala Homecoming The annual homecoming and carnival of the Delta ' first ward, set for Friday evening, Nov. 16, promises to be a gala occasion, with an invitation extended to all of west Millard to attend. Dinner will be served by the Relief Society, Soci-ety, commencing at 7:30 p. m. After the dinner has been served the public auction will open. The aticles to be auctioned will be displayed dis-played in booths open all evening, and includes farm produce, vegetables, vege-tables, potatoes, livestock, fowls, etc. A special feature will be roast turkeys and chickens, all stuffed and cooked ready to serve. Other items will be home made cakes and pies, and candies. Many pieces of needlework and hand made quilts will be auctioned. Games will be going on all evening eve-ning in the basement, games of chance and skill, under the direction direc-tion of the Boy Scouts. The carnival carni-val spirit will reign for the evening, eve-ning, and everyone is invited to come and join in the fun. |
