Show LYNNDYL . B . Rachel Simpson The 4-H Club was entertained at the home of Miss Vada Ivie. A nice luncheon was served to Frances Allen, teacher, Vada Ivie, La Rue Greathouse, Verla Ivie, Christel Nielseon, and Bonnie Howard, recently re-cently from Nephi. The Better cooking Club met at the home of their leader, Billie Nielson. Ni-elson. Mrs. Virgina McMohn attended the wedding at Delta of Miss Shirley Shir-ley Wright and Ve Rue Theobald. Those from Lynndyl who attended attend-ed the wedding dance of M-S Edwin Ed-win Stewart of Oak City were M-S .Wallace Allen, M-S Jim Smith, M-IS M-IS Don Lawsen of Scipio, M-S Kurt Roper, M-S Mart Sheriff and Lydia Smith of Beaver and Blaine Coleman. Cole-man. Elmer Robison of Cedar City is visiting here with his family. He is an operator in Cedar City. M-S Bill Kenrose and family of Milford are visiting at the homes of M-S Carl Benson and M-S Rud-ger Rud-ger Wiley. Bob Kenrose left to join the Navy. Mrs. Sara Ann Wiley of Provo is also visiting here. Garth Wiley of Provo is also visiting with Rusell and Mel Dutson. ; M-S Jerry Nielson and family were Salt Lake visitors Sunday. Mrs. Edna Haycock was a Salt Lake visitor last week. This week she has her mother visiting her. Mrs. Roy Clark, Raymond and Anna An-na Dee left Monday for Pocatello to spend a couple of weeks with her sister, Mrs. Art Simmons and brother Arlo Rutherford. M-S Jerry Nielson entertained the pinochle club Thursday evening. M -S Boy Clark won high prize. A delicious de-licious luncheon was served to M-S M-S Bob Pendray, M-S Roy Clark, M-S M-S Curt Johnson, M-S Vernon Gron-ning, Gron-ning, M-S Clyde Coleman and M-S Reed Larseh. Mrs. Mae Miller and Mrs. Joe Klinge arrived Saturday to spend Sunday visiting at the home of Mrs Wallace Allen and little Billy Miller. Mil-ler. M-S Jim Smith have as their guests M-S Donald Lawson and Beverley; also M-S Bill Thomas, and children. They were on their way to San Diego where Mr. Thomas Tho-mas is stationed. Miss Mery Johnson of Fillmore is visiting here at the home of M-S Roy Clark. Harold Ivie is taking his vacation vaca-tion and visiting his aunt Mrs. Harvey Har-vey Talbot of Willard. He is employed em-ployed at the U. P. newsstand.Jay Simpson is working for him. Garth Wiley returned from Oak ity Tuesday where he has been visiting vis-iting relatives. Ronald and Byron Wiley of Provo Pro-vo are visiting relatives in Oak ity and Lynndyl,. Ve Talbot has ariived home after having an honorable hon-orable discharge from the Army. He was wounded in France. Mrs. Lydia Smith of Beaver is vis-itting vis-itting her sister Mrs. Effie Sheriff. The Mutual gave a farewell party for Olan Sheriff Monday evening out to the sand hills. They were taken out to the sand hills in a hay rack. A program was given and weinies, buns and punch was served. Olan is leaving Tuesday to go to Fort Dougrlas to join the armed forces. The Misses Georgia and Wendell Dutson went to Salt Lake Sunday to visit with their mother and sister. sis-ter. Sgt. Blaine Coleman who has an honorable discharge, will go to Salt Lake to find employment. Mrs. Simpson received word her son Bill is now in Gen. Patton's 3d Army and is in Schneenfurt, Germany. Ger-many. He has "only 78 points so will be home in about 3 months. He is in fine health and has had some narrow and exciting experiences. exper-iences.
