Mrs. Stanley Stewart and son, Stephen, are visiting in .Springville and Salt Lake City. Mrs. Monte King and daughter, Cleo, from Great Falls, Montana, are visiting M-S T. L. King. A large group of Mexicans came into town Monday, to do farm work here this summer. Frank Strickley from Salt Lake City, was a visitor to Delta last week. Oscar Anderson ,from Fillmore, was a Delta visitor Friday, renewing renew-ing friendships. Elma Terry is home from the BY U, where she has been attending school. Mrs. Oz Johnson has visiting with her this week her mother, Mrs. Henry Sorenson, and her sister in law, Mrs. Wanda Reed and two children, all from Smilhfield, Utah. S Buy War Bonds and Stamps $ Mrs. William Chynoweth and daughter, Janice, from Salt Lake City, were visitors in Delta during the first of the week. Patricia Estle, Ethel Joe and Eugene Eu-gene Stewart are vacationing in Santa Monica and Los Angeles, California. Mrs. James McCardell from Los Angeles visited with her sister, A-manda A-manda Whicker this past week. Mrs. Dela Lisonbee returned this week from California where she had spent the last three months. She visited with her twin grandsons, grand-sons, Kenneth and Keith Stoddard, both of whom were in California on furlough. M-S J. W. Pace returned Tuesday from a few days in Salt Lake City. They brought back with them Mrs. Anna Cox of St: George, who will visit here a few days with her sister, sist-er, Mrs. W. H. Pace. Community Church services will be held as usual this Sunday. Driver's License examination will be given in Delta on Monday, July 2, 9 to 11 a. m. in Mercer's Drug Store hall. Mrs. Rex Maxfield and Miss Grace Theobald came down from Provo to attend the wedding of their brother Verrue. M-S J. H. Mollet of Pueblo, Colorado, Colo-rado, visited in Delt,a with M-S M. J. Harris over last weekend. The women are sisters. |
