Show Conference Set In Delta Saturday And Sunday Deseret Slake Quarterly Conference Confer-ence will be held in Delta Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10. This conference, particularly the leadership lead-ership and stake priesthood meeting, meet-ing, will emphasize Elders work. The objective will be to encourage and teach and inspire the officers and members of the Elders Quorums Quor-ums with the hope that greater priesthood activity and spirituality will result. However, all members of the priesthood are expected to attend the conference meetings. Albert E. Bowen, a member of the council of 12 and Nicholas G. Smith, assistant to the Twelve will be here as guest speakers, announced announ-ced Stake President Harold R. Morris. The schedule of the meetings will be a wellfare meeting at 7 p. m. Saturday evening in the Seminar Semin-ar building. This meeting is limited to the Stake Presidency and all ward bishops. At 8:30 in the same building a priesthood leadership meeting will be held. Those who are expected to attend this meeting meet-ing includes the Stake Presidency and clerk, High Council. Stake Mel-chizedek Mel-chizedek Priesthood Committee and all presidencies and secretaries of elders quorums. Sunday morning at 9 a. m. in the Delta Second ward chapel a general gen-eral priesthood meeting will be held with both Aaronic and Mel-chizedek Mel-chizedek members to be in attendance. at-tendance. Talks at this meeting will be as follows: "My Responsibility as a Quorum President," Eldro Jeffery; "What a Priest Expects and the Preparation He Should Make in Becoming Be-coming an Elder," Bruce Hilton. "Quorum Representations in Postwar Post-war Readjustment of Soldier Quorum Quor-um Members," by an elder, followed follow-ed by remarks by the two speakers named. At 9 a. m. in the Delta First ward chapel a mothers and daughters daugh-ters meeting will be held under the direction of Mrs. Annie H. Bishop. Bish-op. General sessions will be at 10:15 a. m. and 2 p. m. The Hinckley Choir will furnish the music at these two sessions.
