Show SOLDIER CONVALESCING . . Vee Talbot returned from Salt Lake City and is visiting his mother moth-er until he returns to active duty. He was wounded in France. I Sgt. Harold Woods, of the Air Corps, called his folks, M-S Brice Woods, the other night telling them that he was now back in the United States and would soon be home on a furlough. Harold has spent 38 months in the South Pacific Pa-cific and has been on most of the islands there with his outfit. It is welcome news to the Woods that he will be home after having been overseas so long. Thirl Stcmworth has been wounded wound-ed three times. He was in the European Eu-ropean area and has been in service ser-vice over a year. He w as a hospital hospi-tal patient for awhile, but is now engaged in the railway corps in France. He expects to go back in combat duty.
