Show Lynndyi . Rachel biit-r-ioo Mrs. Effie Allen, Ruby, Mrs. Mne Miller, son Billy and Mr. and Mrs. Garvin Weir spent Monday in Salt Lake. Mrs. Allen visited in Provo with Mrs. George Godfrey. Varley Dutson took her daughter daugh-ter Georgia and son Wendell to Salt Lake to see their sister, Mrs. Phvllis Sparrow, who has recently returned from Florida. They will also spend a few days visiting here with Mr. Dutson. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson were Nephi visitors Thursday. Miss Betty Rounriy is spending her . vacation visiting her parents in Escalante. Lewis Bowers has been quite ill with bronchial pneumonia. He is much improved the last few clays. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lovell are now living in Clearfield, Utah, as he is employed there. Mrs. Jim Smith received word her son Elray will soon be home on furlough. Carl Ivie, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Burton Ivie of Lynndyi, was home on a six-day furlough. Mayor and Mrs. Carlyle Gron-ning Gron-ning and children spent the week end visiting Mr. and Mrs. Myron Vest. Mrs. Adelia Coleman entertained entertain-ed the "500" club Thursday evening eve-ning at her home. A light lunch was served and cards enjoyed during dur-ing the evening, with Mrs. Viola Angel winning first, Jennie Hud-dleston Hud-dleston second, and Mrs. Mamie Pargis the cut. Miss Nadine Sheriff has return-' return-' ed from Salt Lake after having I been operated on at the LDS hospital. hos-pital. She is recovering and will soon return to Washington, D. C. to her work. Mr-, and Mrs. Lile Johnson, Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Earl Greathouse returned re-turned from their trip to Mexico City and Los Angeles where they visited friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Les Walker of Pocatello, Ida., returned with them and are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Great-house. Great-house. Mrs. Wagman and Mrs. Clark spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Anna Flahive and Mrs. Kirsten Jewkes of Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills spent the weekend in Salt Lake. Roy Clark has been visiting in Salt Lake with his , mother, Mrs. Hilda Clark, and on business. Mrs. C. E. Freer arrived home, from Rexburg, Idaho. She attended attend-ed a funeral of a friend. Last week Glenna Roper and Betty Roundy spent a few days in Salt Lake. George Preston has returned to help with the Mills business. Mrs. Edna Haycocek spent a few days in Salt Lake. Dave Rosenbaum has been in Salt Lake for medical treatment. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark had Mr. and Mrs. W. McKendrick of Salt Lake for dinner. din-ner. Myron Vest and Floyd Roundy spent a few days in Salt Lake. The Misses Shirley and Mollie Mills had a few girls from Milford visiting them, and Jerry Banks remained re-mained over the weekend.
