Show New Books Come in At Delta Library A number of new books are in at the Delta city library, some bot from the best-seller list, the book elub selections, and given by Del-tans. Del-tans. A handsome gift this week was a set of the standard Encyclopedia from Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Park. This is a 1944 edition and in brand new , condition. Another gift is a book often called for, The Story of King ! Arthur, written and illustrated by j Howard Pyle, and given to the li- brary by Mrs. Anna Maly. Among the new novels are Cass Timberland, by Sinclair Lewis: No Surrender by Martha Albrandt; A Portrait of a Marriage by Pearl S. Buck; David, the King, by Gladys Schmitt; Tansy Taninrd, by M. B. S. Strobe-Jackson; The Friendly Persuasion, by Jessamyn West; The King's general, by Daphne Du Maurier. Most Secret by Nevil Shute; Anne Minion's Life, by My-, ron Brining; Jassy, by Norah Lofts: Those Other People, by Mary Krrig O'Donnell; There are also My In-dian In-dian Family, by Hilda Werner; A Star Danced, by Gertrude Lawrence, Law-rence, and This is the Place, by Maurine Whipple. Mrs. Heyborne, librarian, has placed orders for -the next three Literary Guild selections, which will be shipped to this library as soon as they are off the press.
