Show Sutherland Ward To Hold Auction For Building Fund The Sutherland Ward is establishing estab-lishing a building fund to be used in building a new chapel and recreation rec-reation hall for the ward, and the first party to be held in the ward for the express purpose of raising funds will be held on Thursday evening, ev-ening, Nov. 21. All ward members, new and old, and the general public are invited to come to the party and enjoy the evening's program. A supper will be served and sold, arranged by the M. I. A. officers, and later there will be an auction. Each member of the ward will be solicited between now and that j I evening to contribute an article of value not less than $1,00, or as much more as is wished to be used in the sale. Members from the M. I. A. and the bishopric will visit each home in the ward on the Wednesday before the auction on Thursday, to collect the articles given. An evening of good entertainment entertain-ment is anticipated, and there will be dancing after the auction sale. |
