Show Oak City . . . Mae Shipiey The holidays have found many visitors in Oak City and each night has had its attractions including in-cluding two wedding dances. Santa Claus, house part ies a nd New Year's night, and a soldier's party wild a goud program and fiance. A rabbit hunt Thursday, Dec. 27, was a good time for the men, and there were some men from Delta participating. The contest count has not yet been made public, but about 'loo rabbits were killed. Miss Zola Anderson from Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Christensen and family of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. George Faust from Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. David Shehan and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wells from Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Carwin Nielson, Niel-son, Wesley Shipley, Mrs. Leland J. Roper, Miss Leo I a Roper from Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Reid Arnold Ar-nold from Salt Lake City, were visitors vis-itors during the week. The stake dance held in Oak City was well attended by the Oak City people. |
