Show Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. Dana Pratt and Grant Pratt went to Salt Lake Friday. Grant stayed at Fort Douglas where he was inducted in the army. The other Pratts came back by way of Fairview, where they visited over night with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Pratt and family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shurtliff and Wendell Shurtliff spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake visiting Mr. Shurtliff's parents., Mrs. Jane Pratt came down from Salt Lake for a few days stay here, she returned Saturday. Wayne Blake and Lars Bishop went to Salt Lake this week to sign up to be naval air cadets. They came home with the Shurtliffs. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Humphries and family spent the holidays in Springville with their daughter. ! Eugene Stephenson, who was operated on for appendicitis in the Payson hospital on the 27th was reported to be out of the hospital j Tuesday. His mother. Mrs. Lucille Stophensen who spent a week in ; i Spanish Fork and Payson with him ! returned home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Petersen and son of Salt Lake spent Sunday and ' Monday visiting with Mr. and Mrs.; Eldon Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford rValt of1 N.jphi were in Hinckley Wednesday afternoon. Miss Anita Hiiat of Jolint, Illinois, Illi-nois, who is attending BYU this year came down from Provo and spent the week with M. and Mrs. Hon Cropper. She returned to school Monday. Mr. I.afe Nielson, Mr. Don T. Bishop. Mr. Byron Carter. Mr. Clayton Clay-ton Cahoon, Calvin Webb, Harlcn Hilton. Lee Pratt and Garth Cahoon. Ca-hoon. who are all working at Tooe'e spent several days here during dur-ing the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Abbott and family have moved back to Hinckley Hinck-ley this week from Farmington to make their home here. Fred Allen is home from work at Tooele; he intends to remain here awtiTle before returning. Miss Ella Rose Hinckley of Salt Lake City and Miss Bonnie Jean Theobald of Provo were guests for the week at the Moron Peterson homo. They returned Saturday to their homes.
