Show Delta Chapter Sponsors FFA Day, March 25 The Delta chapter will sponsor F.F.A. day at the Delta High school Friday, March 25. It will begin with an assembly program in the morning. The assembly as-sembly will feature an awarding ceremony for the food production certificate by the Lions club, Greenhand chorus, male quartet, accordion solo, and the winning chapter oration. The chapter will then initiate the freshman members of the agricultural agri-cultural classes in the afternoon. The Greenhands will freeze icecream ice-cream for the F.F.A. & Home Eeon. party which will be held Friday night. The Chapter will entertain the girls in appreciation for serving serv-ing our banquets. Eugene Sanford was awarded second place in the Utah FFA Association As-sociation public speaking finals. Eugene represented the Delta chapter and the Southern Utah FFA district and ranked second to Mark Hansen of Tremonton. The subject of Eugene's speech was, "The Holder of the Key." |
