Show Oak City Mae H. Shipley At Sunday evening services High Councilmen Ladd Cropper and El-don El-don Eliason were the speakers, two solos were rendered by Miss Bonnie Riding. This program was really enjoyed by all present. Af-ton Af-ton Roper accompanied Miss Riding Rid-ing on the piano. Elder DeLynn Nielson spent the past week at the LDS hospital for treatments. His mother, Mrs. Twiss Nielson, was in Salt Lake City with him. They returned to Oak City Saturday. ". Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nielson are happy to tell of the arrival of a new grandson, born at Quincy, Wash., to Mr. and Mrs. (Dorothy Nielson) Burke Giles. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson are rejoicing over the news of the arrival of a grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Black Dec. 10. A special Christmas program will be given at Sunday school Sunday, Dec. 21. The Junior Sunday Sun-day school will aso have a Christmas Christ-mas program. Mr., and Mrs. Blaine Coleman visited with their mother, Mrs. Caddie Anderson. Oak City visitors from Benjamin Suday were Mr., and Mrs. Basil Talbot and sons. Mrs. Varda Barrett and children from San Diego, Val., lare visiting her sister, Melva Finlinson and family for a 'few days. Mr. Edward Lovell from Rupert, Idaho, is visiting his father, Mrs. Lorenzo Lovell for a few days. Bert Roper returned from Provo after being at the hospital as Pro- vo for a week. Leland Roper's family celebrated celebrat-ed his birthday Dec. 7 at his home with a birthday dinner. Members of his 'family were present, also Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Smith and Mr. and Mrs. A, M. Roper. Mrs. Emma Talbot entertained Dec. 8th in honor of the birthday of her daughter, Leona. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and daughter, Orpha, and son, Newell, Ne-well, and Mrs. Melvin Anderson were in Provo Monday. |
