Show Indoor Sports At Palomar Opens Hay 10 The MIA summer recreation program pro-gram will get started this Saturday, Satur-day, May 10, at the Palomar. The Palomar will be open for your entertainment in the way of volley vol-ley ball, badminton, ping pong, carom, checkers, or any other indoor in-door sport you care to play. Teams and tournaments will be organized organiz-ed at a later date if competition betwen individuals and wards is desired. This recreation program in the Palomar is being planned in conjunction con-junction with the Softball league which will be started in the near future. It is hoped that a lighting system will be installed on the field this year in order to have the Softball league play night games. The Palomar will be opened open-ed at least once a week for these indoor sports and the dates will be announced weekly in the Chron icle in order to keep you informed. This program is being sponsored by the stake MIA board for the purpose of offering entertainment of iall kinds throughout the sum- mer. The young and old alike are encouraged to participate in this program, so we'll see you all at the Palomar on May 10. |
