Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Cropper and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Cropper attended the Democratic conven-tion held in Fillmore on Saturday evening. Max Eliason from Salt Lake down to attend funeral services for his aunt, that were held Tues-day. Stake board membe; of the Miss LaVon Barney visited Deseret MIA Tuesday evening. j Deseret MRS. ARPHILLA SCOW Mrs. Blanche Davis from Provo visited a few days during the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Cahoon. Mr. and Mrs. F. M .Western spent Tuesday at Provo visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Western. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Black and Mr. iand Mrs. Frank Winfield spent Saturday at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webb en-tertained ata lovely dinner Friday night Those present were Mr. and Mrs. James Sampson, Mr .and Mrs. Bill Crafts and Mr. and Mrs. Spen-cer Webb. After dinner Rook was played and high score was won by Mr. and Mrs. Sampson, low by Mr: and Mrs. Crafts. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cahoon from Tooele visited over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Conk and family and Mr. and Mrs. Or- - sun Cahoon. Mrs. Nola Warner and children returned home Saturday after having spent the past two weeks at Ogden visiting with her par-ents. Mrs. H. S. Cahoon was a Salt Lake visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webbb visit-ed Sunday at Modena, Utah, with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor. Vernal Johnson from Tooele was here over the week end to visit his mother, Mrs. Maud Johnson. Mr. . and Mrs. Ralph Conk and daughters and Mrs. Evva Conk spent Friday in aSH Lake. Mrs. Maxine Peterson and daugh ter from Salt Lake City are visit-ing her mother, Mrs. Inez Damron. A very lovely Primary Confer-ence was held Sunday evening in the ward chapel. The children all wore costumes and a very fine pro gram was given. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Black were visitors at Salt Lake Wednesday and Thursday. Henry Kent Dewsnup spent Wed-nesday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Verle Black was in Salt Lake City on Monday and Tuesday Bishop O. L. Dutson is in Colton, Calif., on business this week.
