Walker are celebrating their golden wed-ding wed-ding aniii: ersary and will be hon-Med hon-Med at open house Saturday Oct. 4' at their home in Delta. friends and family members afe cordially invited to call between be-tween 2 and 8 o'clock, and Mr. and Mrs. Walker request no gifts be brought, please. The couple are both lifelong res "tents of Millard county, and their '"'y years of married life have been spent in west Millard. They are active LDS members and in community affairs. Mrs. Walker is the former Annie May Talbot, and was born in 'eamington Sept. 22, 1880, daugh-'er daugh-'er of Charles and Rose Wiggell Talbot. The family moved to Oak Clty to live when she was twelve years old. William Henry Walker was born in Oak City April 22, 1877, a son of Simeon and Kate Roper Wal- They were married Oct. 2, 1902 in the Salt Lake temple, and made their home in Oak City until 1905 when they moved to Hinckley. In the fall of 1912 they moved to Sutherland, and farmed there until un-til three years ago this fall when they retired and made their home in Delta. They are the parents of three children, Fay D. Walker, Delta; Mrs. Orlean Larsen, Orem; and Mrs Zola Wright, Delta.They have eleven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. Members of their family will receive with them Saturday. |
