Show Final Rites Held Thursday For Little Daughter Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Workman, three-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Workman, were conducted Thursday, March 20, in the Hinckley ward chapel. The little girl died Monday after a long illness. Prelude was played by Mrs. Roma Ekins. Leonard Palmer an-nouced an-nouced the following: Hinckley ward choir sang "Look to the Comforter , after which Mrs. Belva Morris gave the invocation. Mrs. Erma Cropper sang "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope", accompanied toy Mrs. Ekins. A talk was given by Justin Jacobsen . A medley of nursery songs that Cheryl Ann had loved was played by Mrs. Ruth Talbot on the organ. A double trio, Carma Wright, Anna Lee Swensen, Verlene Stevens, Stev-ens, Margene Hilton, Dorothy Morris Mor-ris and Lyla Rae Talbot, sang 'I Think When I Read That Sweet Story", accompanied by Lula Marie Hilton. Leonard Palmer spoke, followed by a solo by Arlan Pope, "Brahms Lullaby", accompanied by Louise Christensen. Closing prayer was given by El-don El-don Hurst.The closing song, "Come All Ye Faithful", was sung by the choir. Burial was in the Hinckley cemetery, ceme-tery, where the grave was dedicated dedica-ted by Sterling Jacobsen. The songs that were sung in the services were all songs that Cheryl Ann always had her mother sing to her. |
