Show Services Held For Aged Mother Mrs. Lacy Ann Hatch Farnsworth Thompson, 80, died early Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Williams, in Provo. She was the mother of Hatch Famsworth.of Delta. She was born April 4, 1871, in Heber City, a daughter of Abram iand Permelia Jane Lott Hatch. She was married to Alva Kent Farnsworth Farns-worth Oct. 14, 1891, in the Logan LDS temple. They had resided in Heber City and at Frisco, Juab county. They later moved to Eureka Eur-eka where Mr. Farnsworth was a mining engineer. In 1902 they moved to Provo where he engaged in farming and dairying until his death in 1915. Later she was married to Thomas C. Thompson, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Thompson had teen active in Provo civic and church work for many years. She had served as Primary and Sunday School teacher, teach-er, counselor in the YWMIA, and president of Primary and Relief Society. She was president of the Utah county camp, DUP, for four years. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 ip. m. in Berg Mortuary chapel, by Thomas A. Wolsey, bishop of Provo Fifth ward. |
