Show Call Meeting To Discus Proposed Bill A public meeting will be held Friday at 2 p. m. in Delta high school at which time a bill to increase in-crease public school .revenues, introduced in-troduced in the state legislature this session, will be discused. Supt. A. M. Maughan will attend the meeting and explain the bill. In the Chronicle of last week, Jan. 25, the bill was described in "Under "Un-der the Capitol Dome." All PTA members are urged to attend this meeting, as well as all others interested. in-terested. And after hearing the bill explained, Millard county citizens are urged to write their views to their legislators, Mark Paxton and A. O. Gardner. Also to be discussed at the meet ing is important data relative to the building program outlined for Millard school district. The Board of Education has had a comprehen sive report and recommendations from a committee headed by Dr. E. Allen Bateman, superintendent of Dept. of Public Instruction, following fol-lowing a survey of Millard county needs. |
