B r r r, Weather Takes Xose Bive It was bright Wednesday night, but bbrrrrr, was it cold! ! After a week of mild temperatures, the bottom fell out early Jan. 31, and the minimum temperature recorded record-ed at Deseret was 22 below, while the Delta airport recorded 19 below. be-low. Sunday night, when the snow began, it was 11 above. Monday night it dropped to 1 below, and on Tuesday skidded down another 21 degrees. At 9:30 Wednesday morning it was ten below, as the shivering townsfolk hovered over the stoves. The welcome snow that accumulated accum-ulated all day Monday had a moisture content of .14 inches. Since Jan. 1 there have been four snowfalls accounting for .25 inches moisture in all.
