Show Breaks Leg On Deer Hunt Trip Mrs. Erma Roundy, wife of George Geo-rge Roundy, of Delta, was brought into Delta Friday at 11 p. m. from their deer hunting camp site with her left leg broken in two places. The ankle bone was broken, and five-inch split ran up the shin-bone. shin-bone. Mrs. Roundy was jumping the rope when the accident occurred that broke her leg. Mr. and Mrs. Roundy had just made camp, high in the Vernon area in Tooele county. coun-ty. Their two small sons were with them, and started to jump the rope Mrs. Roundy joined them for a couple of jumps, and tripped and fell. She was brought into the doctor by Mr. Roundy, and Jim Owens, camped nearby for the deer hunt to open Saturday morning. After the leg was set and put in a cast, Mrs. Roundy was left at home and the hunters returned to the hunt. They had luck in the following two days, and Mr. Roundy reports that in a party of 30 hunters, they came home with 29 bucks and a doe. |
