Show Deseret LUCILLE SAMPSON Ten boys from Deseret left on I the temple bus for Yellowstone I national park Sunday. They were l the Hinckley chapter of the FFA . Those that left were Robert and . Dale Carling, Dick Davis, Jay War- I ner, Kent Dewsnup, Max Jensen, Robert Torrens, Gordon Dewsnup, and Sheldon Christensen. They plan on staying a week. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Cropper spent ' a" few days in Salt Lake City last Week. 5 Mrs. Ellen Cropper and Neva :; Cropper from Salt Lake City are visiting in Deseret for a few days. ':Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Black and :" son, Bob from Ogden spent the I weekend at the home of Mr. and ' Mrs. Clive Black. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb spent a few days in Salt Lake City last week. , Miss Genevieve Eliason is home to spend the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Eliason. Maurice Dorton from Salt Lake visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Cropper. Vernal Johnson from Tooele is visiting his mother, Mrs. Maud Johnson. . Mr. and Mrs. Ormus L. Dutson J and family are in Colton, Calif., f where Mr. Dutson is busy with i his bees. Mr. and Mrs. Welling Zundell of Ogden spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin War- ner. ' A birthday party was held Thurs day for Jay Webb, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb. Many little guests were present and cookies and punch were served Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Black spent Memorial Day at Fish Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Woodbury from California, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith from Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden from Gar rison visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner. War-ner. The Deseret Garden Club met the afternoon of May 25 at the home of the president, Mrs. Ruth Dewsnup. A club calendar for 1950 was made up and committee mem bers were chosen.
