Show Oasis Mrs La Veda Bishop Mrs. Grant Peterson took her son, Ronald, in to Salt Lake City for medical care. The boy has been ill for the last ten days with asthma. Her little daughter, Lois, went with them and they left on Monday afternoon. Mrs. Ted Stanworth also went to Salt Lake City for hay fever treatments. Mrs. Ray Lovell and two daughters, daugh-ters, Mary Jean and Bonnie Rae, are in Lark visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Max Lovell. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Webster and children, Atheda, La Gean and the little two-year old boy that has joined the family since they lived in Oasis, from Escalente, visited vis-ited with relatives and friends a few days last week.. Mr. and Mrs. George Pierccy and children, Janet and Ralph, from Santa Monica, Cal., stopped in last Saturday to say hello to their aunt Mrs.J. C. Hawley. Also Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Hawley. They were on their way to Canada for a fishing trip. Miss Nella Styler returned home Sunday after spending two weeks in Beaver visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Messinger. The Stylers received word that their son-in-law, Lee Farr of Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Arizona, had broken his leg and dislocated his ankle while playing ball. Mr. and Mrs. Art Strang and family are visiting in Oasis a few days Mrs. Clara Talbot of Oak City spent last Thursday visiting her daughter, Mrs. Fontella Skeem. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cropper and son, Cordell, attended the Cropper family reunion in Provo last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hulbert of South Gate, Cal., stopped over night with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kelly. They were on their way to Denver.A few days later they stop ped again on their way back to California. Mrs. Hulbert and Mrs. Kelly are sisters. It's funny the Hulberts found Oscar home. He's been on another fishing trip to Fish Lake along with Lee Davis, Mr. Swalberg and Nels Bogh. They had fairly good luck. |
