Show Fidelity Club Visils Art Sbow The Fidelity Club travelled to Spnngville Saturday where Ihev visited the Art Gallery t Tsee he 949 frt exhibit. They then drove to Provo Roostlad !uncheon at Ule Chicken At the Art Gallery they were shown through by Oliver Parson aTt '"Slructor at Springville high school. Mr. Parson has two paintings paint-ings in the exhibit, "Morning Harmony" Har-mony" and "Snow Patches," and also some sculpture work. Visitors fee that this year's exhibit is one of the best. There are more than 200 paintings on exhibit, of which nearly 100 are by Utah artists. There are also nine pieces of sculpture work, a figurine display and the well-known Steed Memorial Mem-orial collection. Mr. Parson told about the pictures and painters making the club tour especially interesting. Members making the trip were Louise Adams, Romania Bird, Ora Gardner, Thelma Seegmiller, Artie Henderson, Maline Gardner, Clara Killpack, Hannah- Larson, Inez Moody, Donna Sorenson, Ava Star-ley Star-ley and Zola Wright. Two former members, Mrs. Catherine Sheffield and Mrs. Ruth Twitchell, of Provo, joined the group for the day. Mrs. Ora Gardner and Mrs. Larson made the arrangements for the club trip. |
