HONOR WAR DEAD Friday afternoon graveside services ser-vices for Pvt. Dean O. Nielson were held in the cemetery. Miltary honors hon-ors were accorded by the American Legion Posts No. 89 and 'No. 117. the body with military escort arrived ar-rived at 2:15 where it was met by a large crowd of friends and relatives re-latives some of the out of town people were Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Nielson, Mrs. Arvilla Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larsen, Mr. Martin Langley of Cal., Mr. and Mrs. Stewart and 'baby daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Haycock, Mr. and Mrs. Dern Williams, Mrs. Minnie Ashby Mrs. Emma Nielson. Mr. Myron Vest arrived Saturday from Milford and is moving Mrs. Vest Sunday. Mrs. Jerome Ivie returned from Salt 'Lake Friday. Mrs. DeLoong Banks and sons arrived Friday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks. Mrs. Essie Anderson and Mrs. Charlie Williams were Lynndyl visitors vis-itors Thursday . Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson and children drove down from Provo and spent the day Tuesday taking Mrs. Wanda Roper back with them. Mrs. Effie Allen who is now living in Provo arrived Friday and visited her daughter, Mrs. Dick Hayes. Wallace Allen and Varley Dutson arrived Saturday evening and returned Monday. Wednesday Mrs. Lucille Overson and son, Keith, Rachael Simpson and daughter, Janeane and Sue I Miss Jeannette Overson and Coach Scwab of Delta were Lynndyl Lynn-dyl visitors Sunday. Miss Joelean Easterbrook of Salt Lake is visiting here with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Smith. Mrs. Clark Ivie returned home Wednesday with her new daughter, daugh-ter, Sharon, She was born April 15 at Fillmore and wieghed 81bs. Majers spent the afternoon in Leamington Lea-mington visiting Mrs. Charlie Williams Wil-liams and Mrs. Essie Anderson. Don Williams and Stanley White house of Tooele visited here Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper and Jay Roper and Dale stopped here on their way to Payson and took Mrs.. Nada Roper to visit Mrs. Nor-da Nor-da Roper who has a new baby born Friday the 22nd in the Pay-son Pay-son hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and daughter, Paula, spent the night Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper in Oak City. Clorean Johnson returned to Los Angeles Friday after having spent two weeks visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson. Mrs. Eldonna Coleman Anderson is visiting with her mother who has not been feeling so well. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hayes and daughter, Linda drove to Provo Monday evening and took Mrs. Effie Allen and Ruby home. Jerome Ivie came home Saturday Satur-day and visited his family. They are moving to Provo. Mrs. Thelma Clark drove to Pocatella with Mrs. Margie Walker to visit her sister, Mrs. Lenora Simmons, and her brother, Arlo Rutherford. Mrs. Helma Clark arrived ar-rived from Salt Lake to care of the Clark house hold. Mrs. Rachael Simpson Jay and Janeane, Neil Fernley and Don Williams were dinner guests at the Bill Simpson home. Mrs. Donna Haycock and baby daughter, of Salt Lake are visiting visit-ing here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson. Colleen Chase of Nephi and Janeane Jan-eane Simpson left for Los Angeles Sunday night to visit Mrs. Buss Thompson. Carolyn Gaisford and Francis Pfeifer, Mr. and Mrs. De Long Banks went to Milford Saturday before and visited Freddie Miller, before returning to Provo. Miss Colleen Nielson came home Saturday from Cedar City to attend at-tend the funeral of her cousin, Pvt. Dean O. Nielson. Mrs. Norma Majers went to Provo to visit with her husband. |
