Private First Class Reed Davis, of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Davis f BOX 344, Delta, Utah, was chos-f chos-f as one of the eleven enlisted Ln qualified to attend the first ; l"s which began on June 28, 1948. ' private Davis arrived in the Panama Pan-ama Canal Zone on June 16, 1M8 .nd was assigned to the Sixth Weather Squadron, an installation of the Caribbean Air Command, as a weather observer. Upon graduation in August he will receive 60 days of advanced training at either Albrook, Howard, or France Air Force Base. Following ttiis period he will then be eligible tor a position in one of the out-lving out-lving stations maintained in the Caribbean and South America. |
