Show Reception Honors Popular Couple One of the. season's prettiest 1 wedding receptions of the season i was that of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene W. Morris, held Friday, July 30, in the Oak City ward hall. The bride was the former Betty Jane Roper, of Oak City. The bridegroom, bride-groom, the son of President Harold Har-old R. Morris, of Hinckley. The bride was lovely in a white satin gown with finger-tip veil, caught with orange blossoms and edged in lace. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of pink roses centered with a white orchid. Miss Clara Anderson, of Manti, 1 was maid of honor and Mr. Ross Hilton, of Hinckley acted as best man. Other bridesmaids were Miss Barbara Bar-bara Burnham, of Salt Lake City, Miss Lois Shepherd, of Alpine, Miss Kathleen Lovell, of Richfield, and Mrs. -Annalee W. Strong, of Springville Spring-ville Little Misses Karlyn Morris and La Velle Schick, acted as train bearers. Dancing was enjoyed, with a brief intermission for a program. Mr. Paul K. Walker was master of ceremonies. . . Vocal duets were given by Ladd Cropper and Talmage Christensen, accompanied by Mrs. Cropper; also Mrs Julia F. Bliss and Lyman Fin-linson, Fin-linson, accompanied by Miss Wilma Wixom. Both young people are well known, and a host of friends and relatives came from many parts of the state to wish theim well on their matrimonial journey. They will make their home in Hinckley. |
