Show 0AB$ Mrs. La Veda Bishop Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anderson were favored by a visit from Mrs. Anderson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Perry, of Goshen, and her sister sis-ter and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Roundy, of Salt Lake City. They came Sundav, and returned to their homes Monday evening. Mrs. Randal Whiting and son, Max, from Ogden, visited from from Wednsday until Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anderson. Mrs. Val Styler went to Beaver last Friday and visited with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Messenger. Mes-senger. She returned home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kelly, from Ogden, visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kelly. Jim is attending Weber College and finished fin-ished urj the winter quarter. They returned to Ogden Monday to be- j gin the Spring Quarter. Kenneth Schneider, a nephew of Biah Sjostrom and Oscar Kelly, visited in Oasis a couple of days between quarters. He is attending the BYU. Mrs. Hilda Gillen and son, Elmo, i and daughter, Wilma, drove to Salt Lake City last Wednesday. They ; came back as far as Lehi Friday! evening and attended the wedding I of one of Wilma's friends, Miss Mary Rae Featherstone. The storm was so severe that they remained in Lehi all night and came home on Saturday. Hilding Sjostrom's brother, Harvey Har-vey and his bride, stopped at the Sjostrom home and spent a few hours last Friday. The young couple coup-le were returning from their wedding wed-ding trip in California. They are making their home in Logan, where Mr. Sjostrom has a law practice. Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Styler and family, made a trip to Provo Friday Fri-day and Saturday, visiting in Mona also. Tuesday evening the Special Interest In-terest class had a social, games, under the direction of Betsy Skeem. A short program was- given and home-made candy was served. Mrs. Inga Peterson celebrated her birthday Tuesday. A good number of relatives and friends called cal-led during the afternoon and evening, even-ing, bringing gifts and good wishes. wish-es. Many happy returns of the day, to you, Inga. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Day and Don Day, went to Salt Lake City, Wed., to attend the funeral services for their aunt, Mrs. Minnie Nuzman, who died Sunday. Mr.. Peter M. Anderson is in Salt Lake City, also, to attend the funeral. fun-eral. Mrs. Nuzman was his sister. Mr. Jim Thompson is back home again, after spending the last couple coup-le of months in California. |
