Show MRS. RALPH H. SMITH GOES TO FINAL JKEWARD Sorrow enmo to many hearts when friends and neighbors learned ot tho death on Sunday morning of Mrs. Harriet Hayball Smith, wifo of Ralph II. Smith." Mrs. Smith has been ill for some tlmo nnd passed away from the effects of Inflammation of the liver. Shu was the daughter of Elizabeth and Jacob Hayball and was born In Nebraska while rer parents were there on a mission, September 27th, 1860. When she wns two years old they came to Utah, coming directly to Logan where she has resided ever tlnce. In 1880 she was married to Ralph II. Smith and to that union there were ten children born, five of whom, together with Mr. Smtb, survive her, In addition to four sisters sis-ters and two brothers. The children arc Rovcro Smith, Leland Smith, Del-la Del-la Smith of this city, Mrs. Chester Allen of Ogden and Mrs. Jas. A. Skinner of Beaver, Utah. Mrs. Smith has been very active In church affairs in the Second ward being flrat counselor in tho first Mutual Mu-tual Improvement association orgas-Izcd orgas-Izcd In that ward, Sho has held positions in the Mutual and Primary and was a member of the Daughters of tho Pioneers as well as being counselor In tho Relief Society at the tlmo or her denth. Sho was a kindly sweet woman, not of ninny words, but of many good deeds which ill keep green her memory forever In tho hearts of her friends nnd relatives. rela-tives. Funeral services will he held In the Second ward meeting house on Wednesday at 2 p. m |
