Show A HERO OF THE ARGONNE IS HONORED - On Sundnj the remains of Robt. Roy DcWItt, hero of tho Argonno were tenderly bourne to the City Cemetery where they were laid away with military honors. The services wero under tho direction di-rection of the First Ward Bishopric nnd the ulogles were delivered by tho Rov. Hun Is Plllabury of Logan nnd Elder C r. Olson of- Hyrura. Both speakers paid glowing tributes to his valot and uttered words of comfort and consolation to the sorely sore-ly bereaved Music was 1 mulshed by n quartette quar-tette composed by Prof. C. II. Johnson; John-son; Del Mar Egbert, C. O. Peterson and Calvin Fletcher, and solos by Mrs. Llnnartz and Frank H. Baugh, Sr. Elder A. M. Durham offered .tho. Invocation. The benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Rev. Plllsbury who also dedicated the grave. The pall bearers were MUlen and La Von Earl, Grani Bateson,' Arthur Berntsen, Bennett Blair and Clarence Clar-ence Goodwin. At the grave the bugler bu-gler sounded taps and the military salute was fired. Hon. Wesley King of Salt Lake City and Mr. L. S. Sowlea of the Haltoian Judge company were In Logan Lo-gan yesterday in attendance at the meeting of the county commissioners when the road bond bids were opened open-ed Mr. King said to a lepreaenta-tlve lepreaenta-tlve of this paper that tho bonds could not bo sold at par now, as the market is off to what it was a short time ago. |
