Lowo and son, Gail, spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilson. Baby boya wero born to Mr. and Mrs. June Balr and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Miller, and a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Irrin Maughan, Saturday, Sept. 30. Miss Ella Maughan spent a few days in Brlgham City last week, tho guest of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Jonsen. Mrs. Arthur Jonsen and Mrs. Era Hammond of Logan wero the guests of Mrs. Lorin Haslam tho early part of tho wook. Miss Carrlo Lewis and Mr. Ernest Chatterton of Logan spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Maughan havo returned frm Blue Creek to make their home hero ngain. Mrs, P. M. Miss Ethel Reeder has been chosen ono of tho four delegates to represent repre-sent tho Cacho County Cannery club at tho stato fair, and expcct3 to remain re-main In Salt Lako for a few days. Miss Sara Baxter and Miss Edna Walters spent tho week-end In Coll-inston, Coll-inston, tho guests of Miss Baxter's parents, Mr. nnd Mrs, John Baxter, I Tho V. L. M. I. A. held a most successful bazaar In tho Wollsvlllo tabernnclo, Friday and Saturday, closing with a grand ball Saturday night in tho pavilion. Music was furnished by tho Wollsvlllo band. Everyone was more than delighted with tho bargains they purchased. All tho articles wero mado mostly by tho young ladles, consisting of tho most useful wearing apparel. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parker entertained enter-tained at a family dinner Saturday night. Red berries made a lovely tablo decoration. Dinner was served to all tho members of tho Parker family. Mrs. Parker also entertained on Monday for her llttlo daughter, Laura Lee, twenty-four little guests being present. A dainty lunch was served. Games wero also enjoyed. A grand ball was given In honor of tho boys who leave for Fort Douglas Doug-las Carl Lelshman, Georgo Darley, Joseph Hoskln3 and Evan Bandhead. Bishop Charles Maughan, Mayor Lelshman, and E. It. Owen of Logan spoke words of encouragement to tho boys. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Darloy entertained en-tertained on Monday evening in honor hon-or of their son, Georgo.
