Show BOOSTERS SHOW AT THE LYRIC NEXTJESDAY The annual show of the Commercial-Boosters Club will be laid next Tuesday March 13th at the Lyric Theatre. The tickets will be on sale at the Lyric Monday morning at ten o'clock. It is to ho distinctly understood under-stood that no scats will be reserved or sold before this time so that all may have the same priviledge. This year the show consists of a big musical extras agaiua with many comic specialties, Mid those in charge have worked for weeks to get new ideas and acts am' to make this show far different and better than the previous pre-vious ones. In order to do this a rprcsentativc was sent Iiast to select costumes, new music and songs. All the songs and music are of the very latest and right off the press Mr. G. 11. Alexander, director of the olio has secured the best talent in the city and colleges and every part will receive a very high class rendition, flic Dutch Clogcttes is a very entertaining en-tertaining act an 1 will be rendered by ladies who arc experts in this art The Four Colonials who will give a brass quartet with an operatic touch arc in a class by themselves and all lovers of godd music will certainly cer-tainly enjoy the selections. The last act but by no means the least will he the "Trip -to Hawaii," produced by Messcrs Lewis Edwards" and E. B. Parkinson. In scene 2 there will be a real moving railroad train through the grand Carpithal-iau Carpithal-iau mountains on the ay to Honolulu. Hon-olulu. Peterson, Fred Kidgcll, Enoch Lewis, and Oliver Edwards. Clarkston, March 9. Our Primary gave a social on Fri. evening consisting of games, dancing danc-ing and refreshments. A large croud was in attendance and enjoyed a splendid time. This organization arc good energetic workers. Mr. Frank Shumway, the principal of our schools, was detained from school on Monday on account of a very serious illness of his wife. She is improving at present. Our Social girls club gave a party in the ward hall on Wednesday. A nice sum of money mon-ey was received to expend on the lighting of our meeting house. Everyone Every-one present had a good time. Mr. James Buttars has the misfortune mis-fortune to lose an infant son at Idaho Falls. It was brought here for burial. This is the second child Mr. Buttars has lost in one year. Mr. Barker of Newton is furnishing furnish-ing us with some very good picture shows every Thursday night. |
