Show ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ATHYDE PARK Hyde Park, March 7. Ono of tho largest family gatherings, held hero for Bomo time, was hold at tho home of our worthy townsman, Lars C. l'etcrsen, Tuesday afternoon and evening, ev-ening, March G. At that dato Father Petersen reached his 78 th milestone. With chlldren, grand-children, greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren nnd friends, there were CG pcoplo present. Quito a number of tho descendants were unable un-able to bo present. Tho tlmo was spent in singing, playing instrumental instrument-al music, social chat, and feasting upon tho good things of the tho oarth. From other cities came son, Frank Petersen, nnd family; daughter, daugh-ter, Caroline Jenson, and son, nil of Preston. Samuel Christensen of J Burloy and Brother Peterson's sister, Josephino Johnson, of Logan. Brother Bro-ther Petersen has been for many years ono of our leading and influential influ-ential citizens. At present ho is halo and hearty, and quite active for ono of his years. To do his duty, and do ilt well, has always been his motto. May his days of usefulness and enjoyment en-joyment bo greatly prolonged. Today some 2G students from tho A. C. U., under tho direction of Professor Pro-fessor Oreen, invaded our little burg for the purposo of collecting and arranging ar-ranging farm records.
