Show ,, HIKHOOL At assembly on Monday, the students stu-dents had the pleasure of listening to a. very Instructing talk given by Prof. Stelner of the University of Utah. Prof. Stelner pointed out dearly the necessity of a good thorough thor-ough training for life and especially thelneed of boys and girls having something definite In mind that they1 wish to accomplish.- Other numbers on the program were: Violin selection by t Angus Pond, Oolden Preece, Kenneth Hodgson Hodg-son and Cyril Monson; piano selection, selec-tion, Miss Willis Covey; vocal solo," Miss Viola Webb. Monday was the Annual Day at the High School. The day opened with a baseball game, Seniors and Sophomores versus Juniors and Freshmen In which .the Seniors and Sophomores proved the victors in a closely contested game. This was followed by races between the various vari-ous classes 'in which .Russell Bowen came out winner for tbe Sohpomores. In the girls race. 'Connie Miles took the laurels for the Juniors. The races ended In a sprint of the faculty fac-ulty members, In which Mr. Bond took the honors. After the various contests, stud' ents-'and faculty took a hike on the hills' where lunch was served.
