Show MISS HANNAH JENSEN IN CRITICAL CONDITION Word came to Logan from Salt Lake Wednesday to tho etlect that Miss Hannah Jensen, one of the teachers at tho New Jersey Academy, had been operated on at St. Mark's hospital and was then m a crltal condition. This news was a great shock to her many friends here, for none knew that she had gone to Salt Lako for the purpose named. Since Wednesday her friends havo been exceedingly anxious to learn the latest news In regard to her condition and aro cheered by tho statement that thcie Is now a chance for her recovery. The operation revealed that Miss Jensen's troublo Is cancer of tho abdomen, and that It was in bad form. However, if It Is what Is known as tubercular cancer, the chances aro greatly In her favor, and friends persist In hoping that analysis vv III prove this. J t appears that the operation was an exceedingly dltllciut one, involving tho removal of tho peritoneum, or lining of tho abdomen. Tho patient rallied slightly but has remain ed in a comatose condition rer since.
