The child was not missed foi a little time and then a search was made of the entire premises but the little boy was not found. Mis Ida Peterson, sister of Mis. Cragun, while moving along the canal noticed something some-thing red In tho water and upon investigation in-vestigation discovcicd that It was tho missing child floating face upvvaid with its feet through a hcadgate. The little fellow was taken to tho house and while Mi. Cragun went after af-ter Dr. Smith, Mis. Peteiscn and tho mothei woiked with tho child, which was to all appeaianccs dead Mis.
