Show For the information of those who may feel disconcerted or annovedat what may be termed an encroachment i on the Temple Hill drlve.lt may be stated that it Is the Intention of the city to lower the grade from the Miner corner to the top of the hill. About four feet of the hill will be removed. re-moved. This would have been begun before this time but for the fact that Surveyor Schaub has been kept so busy that he has not had sulllclent time to establish a grade. The gravel haulers dug almost Into the roadway, but were stopped sometime ago. However, as the cut is to be made sooner or later they might as well haul from the road Just so long as there Is left a driveway of sufllcient width to permit of publlo travel. Every load they take from there is a saving to the city, and people with acute aesthetic tastes need be disturbed dis-turbed but a short time. |
