Evans, managor of the American Transfor company, muit derod his wife, Lillle Maude Evans, In a most cold-blooded manner at their home In the southern portion of Kan-saa Kan-saa City, Mo., early Saturday. Later he was dead In Mount SL Mary's cem-otery, cem-otery, two miles distant, having shot himself. Mrs. Evans was attacked as she lay asleep. According to tho hired girl, the only witness to the tragedy, Evans entorod his wife's apartments at about daylight and fired two shots at her.
