July 27th, and Yokohama, Au-gust Au-gust 10th, for Hongkong, rollldod near Hongkong, China, with tho Chinese cruiser Huong Tol. Tho warship sank nn hour after tho collision. Tho Empress Em-press of India saved 170 of tho crow of tho cruiser. Tho captain of the ' Huang Tol, vho refused io leave bis ship and thirteen of her crow were drowned. Tho Empross of India was I badly damaccd amidships.
