The natural conditions In facotland aro moro favorable for a largo dairy yield from tho same cows than In America on account of tho moro uniform moisturo In Scotland, and ho consequent succulcnco of pasturage. pas-turage. The record In both countries shows a good degreoof uniformity and a good class of dairy cows. Tho flvo Scotch cow 8 gave per day of milk (pounds) respectively CO, G2, 30, 45, 40, an average of 4G.
