Show Newly Wedded. The arrival of Mr. W.A. Rowles and newly wedded wife from North Carolina Caro-lina was tho opportunity for a mag-nltlelc'nt mag-nltlelc'nt wedding reception at tho home of Mr. E. A. Howies at Lewis-ton Lewis-ton a fewovenlngs ago, and tho event was of such pleasure that It will long be remembered in that particular society so-ciety of which Mr. Howies Is a part. Tho Howies homo was made as charming as flowery decorations decora-tions could make It, and the evening's pleasures, Including a dainty suppor, were greatly enjoypd. Mr. Howies was formerly a resident of Virginia but has been In Utah for twenty-two years. About three weeks ago ho left for Kelford, North Carolina, and thore mot his present w ire, a Miss Josephine Evans. A week later they were married mar-ried by Roy. John Wood at tho Haptlst church or Alexander, North Carolina. Thoy returned to Lcwlston last week and Mrs. Howies had tho pleasuio of again meeting her btother, Mr. S. R. Evans and family, whom she had not seen for moro than five years. The coti;ilo were taken to tho homo of Mr. E. A. Howies and thcie given a grand reception as spoken of above. The peoplo of that vicinity extend ex-tend congratulations to Mr. and .Mrs. Rowles nnd wish for them a life or happiness. |
