EXPLOSION ON STEAMER. Twenty-nine People Perish on Austrian Aus-trian Vessel In the Black Sea. Throo explosions occurred on the Austrian stamer Vaskapu soon aftei leaving the Bulgarian port of Burgas, on route for Constantinople, and twentj-nlno persons perished. Tho boat caught firo and had to be beached. A telegram conveying this nows was recolved by tho agent nt Constantinople of tho Hungarian I.c-vlant I.c-vlant lino, to which tho Vaskapu bo-longed. bo-longed. Tho telegram said tljo Vaskapu Vas-kapu had been destroyed In tho Black Sea. Tho captain and officers of tho Btcamcr and six of her crow were killed, a total of twenty-nlno lives bolng bo-lng lost. Tho Vnskapu sailed from Varna, Bulgaria, and after calling at Burgan, was steaming through tho Black sea to Constantinople, when thrco explosions took placo on board. Tho deck of tho vessel took fire, and Fhe hnd to bo run ashore nt Misrova bay, eighteen miles north of Burgas.
