Billion, Bill-ion, Jr., as secretary. The Mayor stated the .object or the meeting, urged the importance or doing something some-thing handsome by the distinguished visitors, and called for suggestions. Prof. E. W. Robinson was recognized recogniz-ed by tho chair and pioceedcd to offer the following resolution, which was unanimously adopted: Whcieas, Utah Is a, pioneer in the great work of inlgatlon and with Cache county as one of Its foremost agrlcultuial districts, und Whereas, the delegates of the Irrigation Ir-rigation Congress about to visit us will represent districts from all parts of the country and be accompanied by newspaper representatives from most ull 'cities and agricultural districts dis-tricts of the Union, thus offering Cache Valley the opportunity to be widely and favorably advertised, therefore be it Resolved, that the occasion of the visit of said delegates be made a city and county affair and that the surrounding sur-rounding towns be invited to Join Logan City in a special effort to appropriately ap-propriately receive and entertain said delegates. Be it further Resolved, that a general committee of seven, including the chairman of tills meeting, be appointed- by the chair with full power to make all arrangements ar-rangements and appoint such committees com-mittees necessary to so receive the Irrigation Congress delegates. Be It further Resolved, that the citizens here represented re-presented give said committee their hearty support in their labors.
