Show LEWISTON SUGAR CO. Files Articles of Incorporation. Factory to be Built at Once. The Lewlston Sugar Co., capitalized at 31,000,000, and naming C. W. Nib-lej Nib-lej as Piesident; W. II. Lewis, vice-piesldent; vice-piesldent; C. W. Nibley Jr., seeietaij-, Joseph Nelson, treasurer, Geoigc C. Paiklnson, manager; filed articles of Incorporation Tuesday evening, and contemplates beginning tho election of a sugar factory near Lewlston with in a vciy shoit time. Hendricks 1,000 The factory to bo erected is designed to consume 350 tons of beets daily and will piobably be located In the west ern part of Lewlston, as near the O. S. L. as possible. The erection of the same will be commenced shoitly but theie is no intention of having It In opeiatlon befoie next jear. The company has aheady secured something more than 2000 acics of land in the lcinlty of Lewlston on which beets will bo lalsed. It Is the plan to divide this land into small farms, elect houses thei eon and rent same to tenants. The price paid for beets vv 111 be the same as now paid bj Jthc Logan factory, and It Is stated that theie will be no conflict between tlie two factories on any scoic.
