Show PARK CITY FIRE. LOSS$8000.00 Park City, Jul 24. Fire breaking out In the cellar of the Oornor saloon sa-loon In the center of town nt an enrly hour this morning gutted two buildings, build-ings, scorching two others and entailed entail-ed a property loss In excess of $8000. That the fire was not marked by a fatality was due to the fact that It was discovered before It had mado much headway. Sleeping In tho saloon sa-loon whero the flames first appeared was a man named John Bromley. When Patrolman Ed Malln discovered discover-ed the fire nt 1:18 this morning, he turned In the alarm and started to Investigate In-vestigate the Interior ot the store. Dromley was discovered, conscious, but stupefied by the smoke which ho had inhaled before awakening. Ho was taken outside and quickly recovered recov-ered In the fresh air. Spreading from tho Corner saloon, Iho Inflammable stock ot which burned burn-ed quickly the blaze enveloped the M. and M. saloon Immediately on the north. This nlso was gutted. The flames then attacked tho rear ot the Riley & Towe) building and tho q.-lt Lake house, the 'Irst two buildings not th of the M. nnd M. saloon. De-fore De-fore any damage had been dono to theso buildings other than a scorching scorch-ing of tho woodwork nnd slight In-Jury In-Jury to rear rooms the flames, wero got under control. |
